VITRA’S NEW TECHNOLOGY IS IN THE SCIENTIFIC ARTICLE

VitrA’s new washing technology, which transforms the power of water into hygiene, was the subject of a scientific article. The engineering study, which lasted 3 years, was published in Avestia's peer-reviewed journal JFFHMT, together with the most detailed engineering calculations ever made on the effect of water flow in a toilet on the cleaning performance.

After 3-year R&D process, VitrA introduced QuantumFlush, which introduced a new flushing technology for toilet bowls, to the market for the first time at UNICERA 2023. The development process of the technology that transforms the power of water into hygiene was described in the article published in JFFHMT, which is listed in the reliable database Scopus and where each article is peer-reviewed by experts. The article, which contains the most detailed engineering calculations ever made regarding the effect of water flow in a toilet on the cleaning performance, was written by Sefa Manav, Halil Ibrahim Kemaneci and Bogac Simsir from VitrA Innovation Center. The article published in Avestia Publishing's Journal of Fluid Flow, Heat and Mass Transfer (JFFHMT) is titled "Comparison of Two Toilet Bowls with the use of Computational Fluid Dynamics”.

As a result of hundreds of hours of engineering analysis, VitrA QuantumFlush, which prevents splashes and noise, was designed based on the laminar flow principle to ensure that water contacts every point in the toilet bowl in the strongest possible way. Laminar flow, which means regular flow of water, has enabled the water's toilet cleaning performance to be maximized with advanced engineering. According to the article, more than 70 theoretical analyzes and iterations were carried out in the computer environment before the actual tests started. 25 prototypes were made using additive manufacturing methods and theoretical calculations were confirmed with real environment tests.
