TURKISH MARK IN CERSAIE

Exhibiting their innovative designs at the 41st Cersaie Fair held in Bologna, Italy between 23-27 September, Turkish companies once again showed that they have a say in the global arena.


AWARD WINNING DESIGNS OF KALE



Kaleseramik, one of the leading companies in the international ceramics industry, participated in Cersaie, the world's largest ceramics fair, for the 35th time. Kaleseramik, which has further increased its power in large-sized ceramic tile production, especially with its recent investments, shed light on the future of ceramics with its newest products and designs in Italy, the heart of ceramics. The company exhibited its designs that take care of nature and the world focusing on "Natural Balances", which was determined as the theme of 2024 at the stand designed by the famous Italian architect Paolo Cesaretti, who won Kaleseramik many awards with his previous stand designs.


Kaleseramik took part in the fair with its innovative brand Kalesinterflex, which it strengthened with new investments, as well as the newest products and collections of Canakkale Seramik, Kalebodur and T-One Porcelain Countertop brands.


In addition to Kalesinterflex's Earth Collection, which offers a unique experience by skillfully combining calm, modern and natural elements, which is among the winners of the iF Design Award 2024, new products and collections such as Black Swan, Borgogna Stone, Dolomite, Taj Mahal, Calacatta Capraia, Arabescato Oro, Statuario Blue, Platinus, Silver Roots, Calacatta Viola, Calcario Greige/Light Greige were also introduced.


VitrA KARO EMPHASIS SUSTAINABILITY AND INNOVATION


At this year's stand of VitrA Karo, which has been present at Cersaie since 2013, the design flexibility, innovation and future-oriented perspective that constitute the essence of the brand were emphasized.



At the VitrA Karo stand, where textures and earth tones inspired by nature came to the fore, V-shape technology, which is the brand's new digital competence and gives a 3D appearance to surfaces, attracted attention. Tiles that were produced with up to 37% recycled materials, focused on circular economy practices, and whose carbon footprint was reduced by up to 60% were also exhibited at the fair.


VitrA Karo introduced 7 different collections under two concepts within the scope of 2025 innovations. In every collection of the Terra Melange concept, the new 120x280 cm size in TileArt's marble textured collection was also offered.


YURTBAY SERAMİK HAS AN OFFER THEY CANNOT REFUSE


At the Cersaie Fair, the "Amalfi", "Timewood" and "Dublin" large collections of Yurtbay Seramik, one of Turkey's well-established companies in the ceramics industry, which attracted attention with their environmentally friendly and aesthetic designs, were exhibited.



At the fair, where important collaborations were made, Yurtbay Seramik stood out with its sustainable design approach. Setting out with the motto "We have an offer they cannot refuse", Yurtbay Seramik attracted attention in the international market by combining aesthetics, quality and innovation. Thanks to the collaborations with architects, designers and distributors, the visionary face of the Turkish ceramic industry was once again presented to its visitors with new products at the Cersaie Fair.


Making evaluations about the fair where industry trends were determined, Yurtbay Seramik Export Manager Murat Akbulut said: "This year at the Cersaie Fair, we observed that advanced production techniques in the ceramic industry came to the fore and products blending modern designs with functionality attracted great attention. These innovations offer us important opportunities to increase our competitive advantage in the global market. We plan to evaluate these opportunities by determining our future strategies in this direction and making new investments.”


UNFORGETTABLE SHOWS FROM BIEN

Bien, one of the leading brands in Turkiye and the world's construction industry, exhibited its newest collections that combine elegance with innovation at the Cersaie Fair. Bien, which received great acclaim with its 30x90 wall tiles and 60x120 cm technical porcelain collections, attracted great interest from visitors throughout the fair. Bien, which currently exports to 95 countries, has taken important steps to further expand its borders with new collaborations made through the fair.


One of the most special moments of the Cersaie Fair was the two-day "Together" event. Bien hosted more than 600 global customers in the fascinating atmosphere of the historical Palazzo Re Enzo. This event, held within the 800-year-old walls of the palace, turned into a visual feast with magnificent shows and unique designs. The event, where design exhibitions were held, was crowned with special treats, a gala night accompanied by unique shows, and a concert.


GOOD DESIGN IS EVERYONE’S RIGHT


Seramiksan which delivers its innovative tile and sanitary ware products to all over the world with the motto "Good Design Is Everyone’s Right", introduced its newest series at the fair in Italy.


Stating that they are proud to represent the Turkish ceramic industry in the international arena, Seramiksan Director Sureyya Caglar said: “Cersaie Fair stands out as one of the most important meeting points worldwide in the ceramics and bathroom industry. Cersaie offers a great opportunity for us to see the latest trends of the industry closely. On the other hand, it is a platform where we can introduce our new products and support our global growth. We aim to support our global activities by signing new collaborations with the feedback we received during the fair.”



The brand's new 120x120 cm large size porcelain tiles stood out with their modern design and superior performance features. Each series reflected different aesthetic understandings and attracted attention from architects, designers and visitors.


The company also exhibited the latest innovations in its sanitary ware product group with great excitement. Especially in the world and in Turkey, the Hill wall-hung toilet with Vortex, a brand new flushing system, attracted a lot of attention with both its aesthetic and functional advantages in washing.


QUA: WE WERE PROUD TO REPRESENT OUR COUNTRY


Turkiye’s largest technical granite producer, Qua Granite, took its place at the fair for the fifth time with its new collections. At the brand's stand in Cersaie, elements emphasizing naturalness and sustainability attracted attention. Exhibiting its new collections at its 200 square meter stand, the company introduced its new series of 60x120, 100x100 and 30x90 cm sizes, as well as its special series designed for outdoor use. Inspiring textures of nature, timeless color palettes and modern designs came to the fore in the new collections.


Qua Granite Export Sales Deputy General Manager Cigdem Cakir Suna said, “We have the largest facility producing technical granite in Turkey. We prioritize sustainability in all our processes. We recycle 100% of the water we use in our production facilities. Cersaie Fair is a very important meeting point that allows us to introduce our brand and innovations to professionals from many countries. We are proud to represent our country at the Cersaie Fair, which is considered the most prestigious event of the ceramics industry, since 2019," Suna added that they export approximately 33% of their total sales and sell to more than 100 countries, especially EU countries.
