The Architects Meeting organized by Ege Seramik in special to its’ 50th anniversary, is held on 14th September in the Alsancak Historical Air Gas Factory, one of the places in Izmir that carries the traces from past to present.
The prominent architects and interior architects of Izmir has participated in this special meeting of Ege Seramik. The most recent designs of Ege Seramik’s product range are displayed with a presentation in an exhibition concept fitting the spirit of this ambience. Later in the summon, the participants had pleasant hours with the jazz artist Serra Erkoc’s concert.
After the screening of the movie prepared for Ege Seramik’s 50th anniversary, Ege Seramik General Director Merter Savas and Ege Seramik Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors Goksen Yediguller have given a speech. In representation of the institutions contributed to the organization with their participations, Chamber of Architects Izmir Branch Deputy Chairman Banu Aydın, Izmir Chamber of Interior Architects Chairman Burcu Yazgan Parlak and Izmir Freelance Architects Association Chairman Tamer Aksut has been presented special Ataturk paintings prepared by Ege Seramik in the name of Ege Seramik Chairman of Board of Directors Murat Polat in the memory of the 50th anniversary.
Ege Seramik General Director Merter Savas has begun his speech by extending his thanks to all the chambers and guests who showed great interest to the summon; then he informed the participants about Ege Seramik’s brand place in the sector, production campus, global sales network and product portfolio. Merter Savas in his speech talked as follows: “Ege Seramik is one of the few large-scaled ceramic manufacturers of Turkey and ranked among Turkey’s first 500 according to Fortune 500 data and Turkey’s most valuable 100 brands according to Brand Finance data. Our company releases high added-value, unique products to the market and further develops its’ collaboration with design-oriented stakeholders. And we now take the pleasure of hosting the estimable architects and interior architects in our 200 m2 showroom located in Izmir Kemalpasa”.
Ege Seramik Deputy Chairman of Board of Directors Goksen Yediguller mentioned about the 50 years old story of Ege Seramik that passed with groundbreaking firsts and said: “Ege Seramik has greatly contributed to the Turkish economy and industry in the past 50 years with all aspects”. Yediguller emphasized the importance of architects and interior architects in the sector by talking as follows: “We as a company know it very well that you estimable architects’ and interior architects’ duty is not only designing structures and spaces but also providing living spaces which fit the conditions and oriented at individuals and the environment. For this reason, we wanted to celebrate our 50th anniversary together with you as our stakeholders who bring accurate and conscious structures into being and putting aesthetics in them”.
