A MEMORY STUDY WITH STREET LAMPS


The works in Ceramic artist Ali Temel Koseler's exhibition titled "Street Lamp", has been produced with the mold taken from a street lamp and was a kind of a memory study about the tradition of the ceramics.


Ceramic artist Ali Temel Koseler's exhibition titled "Street Lamp" is organized between 17th January - 14th February in Narlidere Municipality's Ataturk Cultural Center Exhibition Hall.

Began to be used for the first time in 4th century B.C. as a raised source of light at the road side in Ancient Greece and Rome, the street lamps both illuminates the common areas and provides light to those who studies underneath it. Works in the exhibition has been produced not under a street lamp but with a single mold taken from a spherical shaped street lamp and was comprised of memorial studies regarding the tradition of the ceramics.
